Admissions FAQ
Everything you need to know about the admission process at God's Blessing Group of Schools — from requirements and deadlines to entrance exams and fees.
What is the admission process?
The admission process involves completing an application form, submitting required documents (birth certificate, previous school reports, passport photographs), paying the application fee, and attending an entrance assessment. Successful candidates will be invited for an interview with the school principal.
When does admission open?
Admission is open throughout the year, but the main intake period is between October and February for the following academic session. We recommend applying early as places fill up quickly.
What are the age requirements?
Crèche: 6 months to 2 years. Nursery: 2 to 4 years. Primary (Year 1): 5 to 6 years. JSS1 (Secondary): 10 to 12 years. Blessed British Academy follows similar age guidelines aligned with the British curriculum stages (EYFS, KS1, KS2).
Is there an entrance exam?
Yes, all prospective students from Primary 1 upwards are required to sit an entrance assessment in English Language and Mathematics. The assessment helps us understand your child's current level and place them appropriately.
Can I apply online?
Currently, application forms can be collected from the school office. You can also contact us on WhatsApp at +2348033592042 to begin the process. We are working on an online application portal.
What documents are required for admission?
You will need to provide: birth certificate or sworn age declaration, previous school report card, transfer certificate (if applicable), 4 recent passport photographs of the child, and 2 passport photographs of each parent/guardian.
Do you accept mid-term transfers?
Yes, we accept transfers during the school term subject to availability of spaces. Transfer students must provide their previous school's report card and a transfer certificate.
