Each age group has age-appropriate activities and a curriculum designed to match their developmental stage.
Yes, we provide a well-balanced and nutritious feeding programme for all pupils. Our meals are prepared on-site by trained cooks using fresh and hygienic ingredients. The menu is carefully planned to include proteins, carbohydrates, fruits, and vegetables to support healthy growth. Parents are informed of the weekly menu and can communicate any dietary restrictions or allergies to the school.
God's Blessing Kiddies College follows the Nigerian Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) curriculum as well as the Nigerian Educational Research and Development Council (NERDC) curriculum for the primary level. Our teaching approach blends structured learning with play-based methods to make learning engaging and effective. We cover core subjects including English, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, and Creative Arts.
Yes, our creche programme caters to infants from 3 months old. The creche is staffed by trained caregivers and nurses who ensure that each child receives attentive care throughout the day. Activities include sensory play, tummy time, early socialisation, and age-appropriate stimulation. We maintain a low caregiver-to-child ratio to ensure that every baby receives the individual attention they need.
Safety is our top priority. The school premises are fully fenced and gated with controlled access points. We have CCTV surveillance, trained security personnel, and a strict pick-up policy that ensures children are only released to authorised persons. All classrooms and play areas are child-proofed, and our staff are trained in basic first aid. We also conduct regular safety drills so children know what to do in an emergency.
Yes, we offer a school bus service that covers major areas within Ibadan. Our buses are well-maintained, equipped with safety features, and driven by experienced and vetted drivers. A bus attendant accompanies the children on every trip to ensure their safety and comfort. The transport service is available on a termly subscription basis and parents are provided with the route schedule upon registration.
Our Primary 5 and Primary 6 curriculum is designed to prepare pupils for a smooth transition into secondary school. We focus on strengthening their competence in core subjects, developing independent study habits, building confidence, and improving examination skills through mock tests and timed assessments. Many of our graduates go on to excel at God's Blessing Comprehensive College and other leading secondary schools.
School hours run from 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM for the primary section and 8:00 AM to 1:30 PM for the nursery section, Monday through Friday. The creche operates from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM to accommodate working parents. An after-school care programme is also available until 5:00 PM for parents who need extended supervision for their children.
Enrollment begins with collecting an application form from the school office or contacting us online. You will need to provide your child's birth certificate, immunisation records, and recent passport photographs. For primary school entry, a simple assessment may be conducted to determine the appropriate class placement. After completing the registration and payment of fees, your child will be formally admitted and provided with the school calendar and supply list.
Yes, all pupils are required to wear the approved school uniform during school hours. This includes the standard school uniform for regular days and a sports kit for physical education days. Uniform details and a list of approved vendors are provided at the time of admission. We believe that wearing a uniform promotes a sense of belonging, equality, and discipline among our pupils.
At Kiddies College, we believe that young children learn best through play. Our play-based learning approach integrates structured educational activities with free play, creative exploration, and hands-on experiences. Through play, children develop critical thinking, social skills, language abilities, motor coordination, and emotional intelligence. Our classrooms are equipped with learning centres that encourage exploration in literacy, numeracy, science, and the arts.
We maintain open communication with parents through multiple channels. These include termly parent-teacher conferences, written report cards, a class communication group, and direct phone or WhatsApp contact with class teachers and school administration. We also send regular newsletters and updates about school events, activities, and important dates. Parents are always welcome to visit the school and meet with teachers by appointment.
